The Ontario Ministry of Health and
Long Term Care and the Champlain Local Health Integrated
Network (LHIN) provide core funding for salaries and
administration.
The Community Foundation of Ottawa has been a source of
grants for special projects that create opportunities for
healthier lifestyles, increased social networking,
educational and recreational experiences and development of
skills and talents.
Current Ministry funding supports basic operations, but
Project Upstream relies extensively on donations to expand
the quality and scope of client services.
Donations support programs that help clients overcome
isolation, build their self-esteem, enhance their housing
and provide social outings in the community. Contributions
may be used to support pilot projects or initiatives to meet
new and emerging client/community needs.
All donations
directly benefit clients
If you are interested in helping
Project Upstream, there are many avenues. We gladly accept
financial donations and/or contributions of time, expertise
or goods. Tax receipts will be issued for any donation of
$10 or more.
