The Sylvia Cuhaci Legacy Fund was
created in 2007 in recognition of Sylvia’s long-time
contribution to mental health services in Ottawa. After
having served on the Board of Directors of Project Upstream
in a variety of capacities, including that of President,
Sylvia now serves on the Board as Fundraising Co-Chair.
The Legacy Fund mainly focuses on meeting new and emerging
needs. Currently funds are being targeted towards a Youth
Matters Campaign to expand services to young persons between
16 and 21 and to assist Youth and
their families in the transition from children’s to adult
mental health services.
