In September 2007 a Legacy Fund was created to honour Sylvia Cuhaci, as she concluded her last term on the Board of Project Upstream. The Fund is in recognition of her significant contributions to the development of mental health services in Ottawa. Sylvia has been involved with Project Upstream since 1987 and remains a committed volunteer and staunch supporter of our organization.

In addition to enhancing our existing client services, the Legacy Fund is particularly devoted to fostering innovation and meeting new and emerging needs in our community. Most recently, funds are being earmarked to support a pilot project to aid Youth, and their families, in the transition from Children’s to Adult mental health services.
